Earth stoves are made of bricks and mud. There was no gas stove before, and every household used it. "People take food as the sky, and food is safety first." It can shoulder the big problem of feeding the whole family.
When we went back to our hometown, grandma cooked with an earthen stove to welcome us. I can finally experience the feeling of earthen stoves and warm flames. I first put some firewood in the fire pit and lit a pile of bamboo leaves with a lighter. Then the bamboo leaves lit the wood in the fire pit. I thought the fire was not big, so I wanted to light the unburned wood on a small fire, but the fire was disobedient and suddenly went out. I added some flammable twigs and bamboo leaves. At the moment when the bamboo leaves were put in, a raging fire broke out in the stove chamber, and smoke curled up from the chimney. Grandma was very happy to see the fire, so she cooked delicious food in a big pot. I watched the firewood in the stove closely. When the wood was about to burn out, I put another piece in to keep the fire burning. I think my face is warmed by the flame. I ran to the mirror and looked. Haha, it is as red as an apple. Earth-burning stoves are really fun! After a while, grandma made a big table delicious, and we began to devour it. The food cooked with an earthen stove is really delicious!
It's just a pity that people's living standards have improved, and there will be no more earthen stoves in rural areas. Before long, maybe we can only see it in the museum, but I won't forget the fun and delicious it brings.
