List of folk activities in Quanzhou during the Dragon Boat Festival
On May 5th, celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. Before and after the Lunar Dragon Boat Festival, many colorful folk activities will be held in Quanzhou. Among them, Jinjiang will host the Sixth Cross-Strait Dragon Boat Festival Folk Tourism and Culture Festival in Jinjiang (Anhai), the 11th Fujian-Taiwan Crossing Cultural Festival and the Water Splashing on the Sea in the Anhai River. A series of activities will be held at the Shishi Hanjiang River. The custom of dragon boat racing will be reproduced by the Sunjiang Bridge. Fierce dragon boat racing competitions will be staged in Hui'an Julong Town and Quangang Shage.
