Guangzhou dialect is mainly distributed in Yingcheng Street and some towns and villages in Yingchong and Yingxi. There are Fucheng dialect (from Hakka dialect, which is different from Hakka dialect and Guangzhou dialect) in Guangzhou sub-dialect, which is distributed in Wangbu Town, Yingcheng Street and Beijiang in Dazhan Town. There is also Kowloon dialect, which is distributed in jiulong town and huanghua town. In addition, some villages in Li Xi Town, Shuibian Town and Dawan Town use Cantonese. The population of Guangzhou dialect and Guangzhou sub-dialect accounts for about 29% of the registered population in the city.
The populations of Huaba, Huaguantan and Yuzuiba in Mianzhen are originally from Chaoshan, and Chaozhou dialect is still used internally. There are more than 5000 Yao people in the city, who use Yao language. Hong Ying, Huaying and Huangpi, three overseas Chinese tea farms, use Mandarin. The local network of Yingde is broadcast by yingde city Radio and Television Station. There are wired transmission and wireless transmission. Wireless coverage mainly consists of two turntables, Duangangshan and Qiaotou, which mainly transmit two sets of radio and television program signals from the central government, provinces and cities and FM99.9 programs of Yingde Radio Station, and the signals can cover most areas of the city.
