As long as I can remember, the first thing people say to each other is, "Have you eaten?" In the history of China 100 years, perhaps "eat" is a very warm greeting, and the answer is "eat!" This is also a symbol of pride and happiness. Come to think of it, from the late Qing Dynasty to the end of the Cultural Revolution 100 years, perhaps, few people have had enough to eat, perhaps, many people's inner memory: "Happiness means having food!" Perhaps, parents work so hard to encourage their children to study, become champions and become officials, just to ensure that their children have a bowl of "rice".
