From your description, this is a contour map. If you are using Origin8.0 or higher, directly import the data into the data table, select the data in column C, then right-click the data header in column C, and select Set as in the pop-up menu. Z. then select all the data and click drawing-> drawing on the origin menu bar. Contour-> Color filling will do.
