1. Return to the home screen: currently in Google Earth or other applications, please press the back button of the device until you return to the home screen.

2. Open the list of recent applications: According to the device model and Android version, there are several ways to open the list of recent applications. By clicking the multi-task/recent task button of the device (usually the square icon on the virtual navigation bar) or sliding the bottom edge of the screen up with gestures.

3. Close Google Earth: In the list of recently used applications, find the thumbnail of Google Earth, and swipe up or sideways to close the application. This will force the running Google Earth to stop.

4. Restart Google Earth: Return to the home screen or reopen the application drawer, find Google Earth in the application list and click Reopen. According to the above steps, the Android phone will close and restart the Google Earth application.
