This article is long overdue. This time I finally decided to record my fat loss experience in writing.
I’ve been thinking, if I can’t even control my body shape, what else can I accomplish? If you can't bear it anymore, there's no need to bear it anymore! So, at the end of 2018, I started looking for a healthy weight loss plan.
Why is it a healthy weight loss plan? In the past 2 years or so, I have tried twice a 7-day fasting-like method using meal replacements to lose weight. Although I was able to persevere and lost weight because of it, my body felt a little weak, and I even found that I would gain it back quickly after I resumed eating. Obviously this method of drinking meal replacement powder without eating anything else is against human nature for me. It’s uncomfortable and unsustainable, and not worth promoting. A healthy and slim body is what I want to pursue!
I went to Futian to visit and consult with a teacher Mai Yuyi who has 20 years of experience in nutrition and many years of natural medicine practice. She provided me with a systematic diet adjustment and nutritional supplement plan (called a low-carb ketogenic diet). I also purchased a weight-loss community course summarized by the psychological counselor Yu Jun, and also purchased a course from the guidance of Lin Chiling. The slimming teacher Tang Anqi’s live broadcast courses and books. I also listened to the book over 10 times and learned the essence of the book "Grain Brain". The reason why I do this may be due to my current style of doing things. I will gather the strengths of everyone to form my own specific action guide! (This time I mainly used Teacher Mai’s plan).
Now let’s talk about how I did it?
1. Clearly understand the meaning and value of fat loss and weight loss to yourself? Have firm faith and don’t give yourself a way out! When doing anything, why you do it is far more important than how you do it? This is the original intention, which can directly affect the direction of events in the future, so you must ask yourself more about why you want to lose fat? The more answers there are, the greater the motivation. It would be better to add what are the consequences of not doing this? The more you list, the better! Here is what I did about cutting off my own retreat: In late January 2019, I posted 1 The circle of friends said: I must complete the 10-pound fat loss goal before March 25. Public commitment is a good way to discipline yourself and urge you to take action. After all, no one really wants to be a person who only talks and takes no action.
At the same time, I read Wu Zhongqing’s "Human Body Manual" 9 years ago. The book mentioned a trick to make the body healthier: "One style, three moves." It mainly talks about: going to bed early and getting up early every day, tapping the pericardium meridian on both hands, and tapping the gallbladder meridian on the outside of the legs. If you persist in this way for a long time, it can not only nourish the body's qi and blood, but also detoxify and lose weight. Because I have personally experienced these two cases, the belief of going to bed early and getting up early has already been deeply ingrained in my subconscious mind. And I firmly believe that this is correct and effective. As long as you persist, it will definitely help your body a lot. **
Let’s first look at what is a ketogenic diet? This is a diet plan that advocates a combination of high fat, low carbohydrate (porridge, noodles, rice), supplemented protein and intake of other nutrients. The diet emphasizes eating more high-grade fats such as meat, fish, eggs (one of the best foods, but Chinese people generally have a wrong understanding of eggs), etc. At the same time, you should also eat good oils. The best ones are deep-sea fish oil, virgin olive oil, coconut oil, etc. This diet is also combined with a short period of fasting. Scientific research has also shown that the ketogenic diet has an efficient therapeutic effect on Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, muscle atrophy, autism, etc.
So what is low carb? As the name suggests, it is to reduce the intake of carbohydrates (porridge, noodles, rice). Because carbohydrates are high-starch foods, starch will be converted into polysaccharides (the main raw material for body weight gain) after digestion. So why should we emphasize the need to implement low-carb diet for fat loss? Because if you consume too many carbohydrates and do not exercise enough, the excess carbohydrates will be converted into fat and stored. So I didn’t eat any carbohydrates during my fat loss period. Some people say, can you bear it? Of course, there are plenty of things to eat.
(When Fan Deng was talking about the book Gu Brain, he said that the teacher who taught him to successfully lose weight also asked him to adopt the ketogenic diet method and completely cut off carbohydrates within 33 days, with intermittent fasting of 1 to 2 days in between. It probably means allowing the body to produce ketones on its own. He lost 15 pounds in a month, and also mentioned the occasional short-term fast during the fat loss period)
Breakfast list
Drink some warm water first, 1 pack of Lefiber + 1 scoop of protein powder (the water should not be too hot), nutrients, fruits, vegetables, and 2 to 3 eggs.
Lunch and dinner list
1 pack of Paochong Le Fiber + 1 scoop of protein powder (the water should not be too hot), nutrients, soup (don’t drink it if there is no soup), and various vegetables , meat (fish, chicken, beef and mutton, etc. I didn’t have pork during that time because its nutritional content is not as good as the previously mentioned categories). It's enough to eat 7 minutes to full, and a smaller portion can be used for dinner. Before you lose weight in the early stage, you have to exercise restraint. Once your body loses weight and you develop a physique that is easy to lose weight, you can let go. For example, I am in this state now.
My key points for fat loss:
1. 1.5~2 hours before lunch and dinner. Teacher Mai recommends supplementing 1 pack of LeSlim + 1 scoop of protein powder each. This will not Causes you to be too hungry during dinner and leads to overeating. This is what Teacher Mai said. If you can't lose weight by eating 3 meals a day, then eat 5 meals:)
2. Pay attention to the order of eating! Eating the right ingredients and eating in the right order are very important! Eat nutrients first, drink soup, then eat fruits and vegetables of various colors, and finally eat meat (you will also eat this way after you lose weight successfully).
3. Chew slowly. Teacher Mai recommended chewing each mouthful 36 times (I didn’t do it 36 ??times, but I didn’t gobble it up either).
4. During the weight loss period, it is forbidden to consume sugar, porridge, noodles and rice.
4. Reasonable exercise is very important (aerobic exercise):
1. I get up at around 5 a.m. every morning to perform 108 prayers. I don’t have the conditions to do this when I return to my hometown in Ningxia during the Spring Festival. For exercise, replace it with brisk walking of 5,000 to 10,000 steps every day. At minus 7 degrees Celsius, I wear a down jacket, a hat and a mask and keep exercising every day, because the goal is pulling me ahead.
2. Do 40 sit-ups every day (to slim down the belly)
3. Pat the gallbladder meridian on both sides of the thighs (to slim down the fat on the buttocks and thighs) and hands every day The pericardium meridian (slimming arms)

Before March 25 this year, my weight dropped from the initial 59.5 kilograms to more than 53 kilograms, and my belly, hips and buttocks all lost weight at the same time. This incident gave me a great sense of accomplishment, and at the same time, it also planted a positive anchor in my heart about weight loss success. This experience has very positive guiding value and significance for my future development in all aspects.
