Precautions for eating dates:
1: When pregnant women eat raw jujube, the jujube peel is easy to stay in the intestine and is not easy to be discharged, so spit it out when eating jujube.
2. When eating raw dates, be sure to disinfect and wash them, otherwise pesticides may remain on the dates, which will have adverse effects on the health.
3. Children's spleen and stomach function is weak, and dates are sticky and difficult to digest. Eating too much hinders the stomach and intestines, which easily affects children's appetite and digestive function. Moreover, dates contain too much sugar, which is easy to cause dental caries.
4. Don't eat high-protein foods such as seafood and dairy products immediately after eating dates. Because vitamin C can make protein in these two foods hard to absorb, we should eat high-protein food after eating jujube 1 ~ 2 hours.
5: It should not be eaten with animal liver. Animal liver is rich in copper, iron and other elements, and copper and iron ions are easy to oxidize vitamins contained in other foods and lose their efficacy.
6: Don't eat when taking antipyretics. Taking antipyretics and eating foods with high sugar content are easy to form insoluble complexes and reduce the initial absorption rate. Jujube is a food with high sugar content, so it is forbidden to eat.
7: Bitter and stomach-invigorating drugs and wind-dispelling and stomach-invigorating drugs should not be eaten. Bitter, wind-dispelling and stomach-invigorating drugs stimulate the taste organs through the bitterness of drugs, and reflexively improve the excitability of food to the center, thus helping digestion and stimulating appetite. If you use date palms when taking the above drugs, it will obviously affect the curative effect of the drugs.
8: Like eating other foods, don't overeat dates. Compendium of Materia Medica says: "Eating more makes people feel cold and hot, and those who are thin can't eat it." Not suitable for people with abdominal distension and loss of appetite. Because of its high sugar content, diabetics should not eat it. Pay attention to protect your teeth when eating dates. It is advisable to eat no more than 50 grams of dates every day.
9: Not suitable for eating with vitamins. Vitamins in food will destroy vitamin K and reduce the therapeutic effect; Not suitable for eating with cucumber or radish. Radish will have anti-acid enzymes, and cucumber contains vitamin decomposing enzymes, both of which will destroy vitamins in other foods.
