China Criminal Police College, located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is an undergraduate college directly under the Ministry of Public Security. It is a training base for technical reconnaissance cadres, a training base for anti-drug police, a "backbone training base for criminal investigation in the security department of the whole army" determined by the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, and a garden-style unit in Liaoning Province. It is known as "Police Tsinghua", "the highest institution of criminal police in China" and "the cradle of Oriental Sherlock Holmes".
