Nanchang Xinjian Farm Prison mainly holds prisoners who have served their sentences 10 years or less. Jiangxi Hongdu Prison, also known as Chengxin Farm, is located in Xihe Road, the northern suburb of Xinjian County, Nanchang City, on the bank of Poyang Lake at the junction with Nanchang County, 45 kilometers away from downtown Nanchang, and consists of two reclamation areas, Nanhu Lake and Beihu Lake, with a total area of 35.62 square kilometers. Hongdu Prison has a total construction area of 58,600 square meters and can hold 3,000 criminals.
