Eating zongzi on the Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional custom in China, which generally has various shapes such as regular triangle, regular quadrangle, pointed triangle, square and strip. Because of the different eating habits, there are two kinds of zongzi: salty zongzi and sweet zongzi.

Koreans in Yanbian, Jilin Province usually eat rice cakes during the Dragon Boat Festival. The rice cake is made of mugwort and glutinous rice in a big wooden trough made of single wood, which is very ethnic.

Nanchang, Jiangxi will cook tea eggs and salted eggs during the Dragon Boat Festival. Generally, it includes eggs, duck eggs and goose eggs. Colour the eggshells red and put them in colorful net bags.
