Drink more water and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, such as watermelon juice, fresh pear juice, fresh orange juice and tomato juice. Eat leafy vegetables, such as cabbage, celery, spinach and bean sprouts. Leafy vegetables contain more crude fiber, which helps to clear away accumulated heat in the body and promote defecation. You can also eat melon, cucumber and so on.
Can't eat:
Avoid cold and greasy food and hair products, such as fish, shrimp, crab, cattle, mutton, coriander, fennel, fungi (mushrooms) and other foods rich in protein. These foreign protein are prone to produce allergens, which will lead to allergic reactions and aggravate the disease.
Be sure to remember ~ avoid eating spicy fish and shrimp and other foods. Patients with chickenpox should drink plenty of water and provide nutritious and digestible foods such as milk, eggs, fruits and vegetables.
