In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), the school was renamed as "Liyang County Senior (Grade) Primary School" and later renamed as "Liyang County No.1 Senior (Grade) Primary School" (Du Nan, Daibu and Bieqiao were "two highs", "three highs" and "four highs" respectively). Courses include "Chinese (fixed language), self-cultivation (later changed to citizenship), history, geography, arithmetic, natural history (that is, original ambition, later changed to nature), sports, music, art (labor), English" and so on. The principals of this period are: Song Dejing, Zhou Xiaozeng,,, Zhou and others.
