Okra is a vegetable grown in summer and autumn. It likes warmth and is afraid of frost. The entire growth period should be arranged in the frost-free period, and the flowering and fruiting period should be in the warm and humid seasons in various places. Cultivation in the open field is usually done from April to June in the north and south, and harvested from July to January. In North China, sowing is usually done from mid-to-late April to May.
