Manjiang Hongyuan is a kind of green manure crop, which is common in rice fields. Because of its fast growth and strong reproductive ability, it is easy to cause water pollution. Manjianghong grows well at 15~25℃, but grows slowly above 35℃. Too high or too low temperature will affect its normal growth.
Manjianghong is common in paddy fields or ponds. Because it coexists with nitrogen-fixing algae, it can fix free nitrogen in the air and is an excellent biological fertilizer source for rice. Because of its high nutritional content, it can be used as feed for livestock and poultry.
Azolla is often associated with ANABAENA, which has a wide growth temperature range, fast propagation speed, high yield and strong adaptability. It floats on the water and is often found in paddy fields, lakes, ponds and reservoirs. The growth of Azolla needs high temperature, and neither too high nor too low is suitable for growth.
Propagation method of Azolla:
The reproduction methods of Azolla are divided into sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction. The plant belongs to algae, which has strong adaptability and fast reproduction speed, and generally grows in ponds, rice fields or water lakes. Mainly distributed in East China, South China, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other provinces, and also distributed in Japan, the Philippines and India.
