Chestnut chicken soup
Health effects:
Chestnut: spleen, kidney and qi
Jujube: soothe the nerves, tonify the spleen and stomach, and help reduce blood fat.
Coix seed: diuretic, detumescence, invigorating spleen, removing dampness, relaxing muscles and tendons, removing arthralgia, clearing heat and expelling pus.
Lycium barbarum: nourishing kidney and lungs, nourishing liver and improving eyesight.
Ingredients: 500g of native chicken, chestnut 12 red dates, coix seed 1 5, a little salt and a little ginger.
Recipe practice:
1. Materials: native chicken, chestnut, red dates, ginger, coix seed, medlar and salt.
2. Chestnut hulling
3. Boil chestnuts in the pot for five minutes.
4. While cooking chestnuts, the red dates are pitted, the ginger is peeled and sliced, and the coix seed and medlar are washed.
5. Take off your clothes when chestnuts are hot
6. Put all the ingredients in a purple casserole and add some water.
7. Mix the purple casserole into "soup/porridge" and cook until 1-2 hours. Add salt before eating.
