The password encryption of 1. 1 includes "password to open document" and "password to restrict document editing and printing". If a password is set to open the document, you need to enter the password to open it. No matter how complicated the password is, it can't be cracked.

Before encryption, you can view file properties, menu bar and file properties. Next, encryption, menu bar, advanced-security-password encryption will pop up the encryption dialog box. Just set the password to open the document, check "Password to open the document", confirm, pop up the confirmation dialog box, enter the password again, and then save it ~ ~ (compatible with the default settings). After saving, close the file, and when you open it again, you will be prompted to enter the password, and the encryption will be successful.

1.2 Password settings for restricting file editing and printing

Menu bar, Advanced-Security-Password Encryption,

The encryption dialog box pops up, as shown in the figure. Just set the items in the License column:

3 Confirm the password again:

Remove the check box "Enable text AIDS for screen readers with poor eyesight", and the following dialog box will pop up, which you can confirm. A confirmation dialog box pops up, enter the password to be set again, save it after confirmation, and the encryption is completed.

At this point, close the "Security" tab and view the properties of the file after it is opened again:

It can be seen that all editing functions of the document are restricted and can only be read, indicating that the encryption is successful.
