Kong Lingyi is an outstanding representative of Confucius family. He once worked in imperial academy of Qing Dynasty and gave lectures to Emperor Guangxu, and was trusted by Emperor Guangxu. During his tenure, he actively promoted the development of Confucian cuisine, making it a tribute to the Qing court, and personally compiled the Catalogue of Confucian Cuisine, which recorded the cooking skills and ingredients of Confucian cuisine in detail and made great contributions to the inheritance and development of Confucian cuisine.
