There are many reasons for this situation, and it also reveals that there are still some shortcomings and defects in this round of epidemic prevention and control in our city. First, the Omicron mutant BA.5.2, which is prevalent in this epidemic, has higher virus carrying capacity, stronger spreading power and concealment, faster spreading speed and more difficult to control. The prevention and control measures taken against this strain are not accurate enough, which leads to repeated epidemic treatment. After six consecutive days of social clean-up, positive cases were detected in many low-risk communities, and individual positive cases were difficult to trace, which brought great challenges to epidemic prevention and control. Second, there are still loopholes in the closed-loop management of people and things. The chain of social recessive transmission has not been completely cut off, and positive infections have repeatedly appeared in some communities. Third, the ability to cope with the development of the epidemic is insufficient, the response speed is not fast enough, the flow source is slow, and the control measures are not in place, which fails to stop the spread of the epidemic in time. Fourth, the adjustment of high school low-risk areas is not timely enough, and the grid division of high-risk areas is too large, which leads to too many residents being locked up at home for a long time, leading to emotional instability of some residents.

These problems in our work have brought great influence to the life and work of the general public, and also made medical staff, community cadres, public security officers and volunteer service personnel tired in the front line of epidemic prevention for a long time.
