Hot Huff Instant Noodles

These fragments reflect the light. I saw, stewed chicken noodles with tea tree mushrooms, braised spare ribs, and pickled vegetables, evoking many sometimes joyful, sometimes lingering memories. What could be so legendary about ordinary instant noodles?

Start with the pickled vegetable noodles. That day during military training, we girls and boys got up at three o'clock, the girls ate snacks, and the boys ate pickled noodles. These were discovered by some of the instructors and almost punished, but fortunately they were very "kind" and let us off the hook. We all laughed that day, this flavor of instant noodles recorded this highlight.

It would have been even more memorable if the noodles had been braised pork ribs. I was six years old, my mom was away, I was starving and didn't know how to fix my tummy. I remembered instant noodles. So clumsily, I was careful with the whole three-minute process from boiling water to soaking the noodles, and I ended up with sizzling, hot instant noodles. I was disappointed: how come it didn't taste as good as mom's? I was also happy that I had learned how to make noodles. I was so happy, I jumped three feet high.

While the first are all good memories, this one, the latter, is the bleakest of all. Stewed Chicken Noodles with Tea Tree Mushrooms, a flavor that reminded me of the chicken and mushroom soup my grandmother used to make for me when I was three years old. At that time, I asked my grandmother, "What is this, it looks delicious." "It's chicken and mushroom soup, my precious granddaughter." Grandma replied with a smile. I took a sip, what a warm, intimate flavor! Now, Grandma is over sixty years old and has gray hair. Whenever I eat this kind of instant noodles, I so want to go back in time, back to that era.

Instant noodles, always so unique. It is not as sweet as lollipop, not as noble as grilled steak, and not as tantalizing as bologna. But it is very intimate, carrying people's memories flying into the future, more and more convenient!
