Where are the green shrimps mainly distributed?
Japanese Macrobrachium nipponense (dehaan), also known as river shrimp, is commonly known as river shrimp and lake shrimp. Taxonomically, it belongs to arthropods, crustaceans, Decapoda, Swimming suborder, Brachynchidae and Macrobrachium. Because its body color is blue, with brown-green stripes, it is named green shrimp. Shrimp is mainly distributed in China, Korea and Japan, and widely distributed in rivers and lakes in China, especially Taihu Lake, Weishan Lake, Longgan Lake, Baiyangdian Lake and Poyang Lake.
