Simple and beautiful flower lantern practice Handmade
Nightfall, the shy lantern girls, dressed in various colors, there are passionate fire red, there are warm and soft orange, there are energetic yellow ...... like the stars scattered across the sky. Today, I present to you 3 lantern production methods, so that children can experience the hands of the "stars" in the hands of the feeling!

Colorful paper lanterns

Red, yellow paper 1 each, 1 pair of safety scissors, 1 stapler, white latex or glue stick, red hair root 1 each.

Steps

1. Fold the red paper horizontally in half, and use safety scissors to cut the red paper at equal distances from the fold.

2. Fold a small part of the yellow paper horizontally and tear it off, roll up the rest of the paper along the long side, and fix the opening with a stapler by the teacher or parents. To make it easier for children to maneuver, you can also replace the stapler in this step with white latex or a glue stick.

3. Apply white latex to both long edges of the cut red paper and roll it up around the yellow cylinder as shown below.

4. Paste a thin strip of red paper to make a lantern handle, confetti lantern production is complete.

Paper Cup Lanterns

Preparation Materials

Two disposable paper cups, one pair of safety scissors, one ballpoint pen, one white latex or glue stick, one red hairy root, and a number of watercolor pencils.

Steps

1. Take a disposable paper cup, as shown in the picture from the mouth of the cup will be cut at equal distances from the paper cup (for the convenience of young children to operate, can be cut into a wider long strip).

2. Use safety scissors to cut the edge of the cup.

3. Trim the wider part of the long strip at the mouth of the cup so that each strip is the same width.

4. Pull the long strip outward and roll it inward as shown below.

5. Take another paper cup and keep a small portion of the top of the bottom of the cup and cut off the rest with safety scissors.

6. Use safety scissors to cut a small part of the top bottom of the cup at equal distances.

7. Use a ballpoint pen to pierce holes in the center of the bottom of the two cups, and then use white glue to fix the two cups as shown in the picture (if the white glue can not stick to the paper cups, the teacher or the parents can assist the children to use double-sided tape to fix).

8. Take the hair root 1, through the two cups at the bottom of the hole, lantern production is complete.

9. Finally, young children can use watercolor pencils to paint the lantern into their favorite color, I here will be painted lantern warm and soft orange.

Tips:

The children can't finish the making of the paper cup lantern alone, the teacher or parents can flexibly assist the children according to the children's mastery of handicraft.

Cardboard lanterns

Preparation materials

4 pieces of red cardboard (slightly hard), 1 pair of safety scissors, 1 stapler, 1 hair root, 1 white latex or glue stick.

3. Fold the four corners of the small rectangular cardstock along the fold lines as shown.
