The upper and lower jaws are lined with sharp teeth. Two broad dorsal fins and a forked tail give the barracuda plenty of forward momentum. Barracudas like to bounce around on the surface. They often leap out of the water and make continuous jumping motions. Identifying a barracuda is not difficult. The color around the eyes of a barracuda is a slightly reddish yellow.
