Wanzhou District, a district of Chongqing, People's Republic of China*** and the State of Chongqing, is located on the northeastern edge of the city, 228 kilometers from the center of Chongqing. As of the end of 2022, Wanzhou District had a territory of 3,456.41 square kilometers and a resident population of 1,564,300.

Wanzhou District is located at the eastern edge of the Sichuan Basin, the northeastern edge of Chongqing Municipality, located between latitude 30°23′50″~31°0′18″ north and longitude 107°52′22″~108°53′52″ east, with an area of 3456.41 square kilometers. It is connected with Yunyang County in the east, bordered by Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County and Lichuan City of Hubei Province in the south, Zhong County and Liangping District in the west, and bordered by Kaizhou District and Kaijiang County of Sichuan Province in the north. East and West is 97.25 kilometers wide, North and South is 67.25 kilometers wide, the urban area of 110 square kilometers.
