The spotted ring penguin, also known as African penguin, is 63 cm long and has lived in South African waters for a long time. The breeding period is between11~ March. Generally, 2 ~ 4 eggs will be laid, hatched for 28 days and fed to chicks for 3 months. The main foods are: bamboo fish, squid and arthropods.

After the emperor penguin enters the winter in April in Antarctica, the female penguin lays eggs around May. Emperor penguins only lay l eggs at a time, while other penguins lay 2 eggs at a time.

King penguins breed on the ice in the Antarctic continent between 66 and 77 degrees south latitude. Its spawning period starts from 1 1 month.
