Chicory, also known as chicory, bitter greens, cascara sagrada, wrinkled-leaf chicory and so on. It is a perennial herbaceous plant of the genus chicory in the family of Asteraceae. The main root of chicory is conical, with lateral roots and most of the fibrous roots, with a brownish-yellow, wrinkled surface. Not easily spoiled, slightly angry and bitter.
