Lin Qingxuan always tells us the truth of being a man with plain words. Lin Qingxuan, he has a child's innocence, a woman's delicacy and a man's reason. Prose for everyone to enjoy.

Lin Qingxuan's Prose Suitable for Middle School Students: The Real Lawrence A young girl wrote to me, saying that she was originally an art student, and her favorite thing was to sketch in the sun with her painting tools on her back, hoping to draw all the beautiful things in the world. During the winter vacation, she went to work in a factory but her right hand was crushed. From then on, she couldn't go outdoors to sketch with painting tools on her back, couldn't paint any more, and even gave up her school job, feeling that life was meaningless. She painfully shuts herself in her room every day, feeling sad about everything. Finally, she asked me a question: What should I do? What should I do?

This question has been bothering me for a long time and I don't know how to answer it. It also reminds me of toulouselautrec, a great French gnome painter. Roderick was born into a noble family. I was smart and loved when I was a child. Unfortunately, when he was fourteen, he accidentally tripped and broke his left leg. A few months later, his mother took him for a walk. He fell into the sewer and broke his right leg. Since then, his development from the waist down has completely stopped and he has become a dwarf.

Roderick's experience may be unfortunate for himself, but it is a great misfortune for art. Roderick's art was born after he broke his leg. If Roderick hadn't broken his leg, would he have become a great painter in art history? Roderick said, "If my legs were like ordinary people, I wouldn't be able to draw." Can be said to be the best answer.

From Roderick's works, we can see that he is particularly interested in dancers and galloping horses, leaving many excellent works, which comes from his psychological compensation. Through painting, he projected his dream of dancing and riding into art, so if Roderick is as good as ordinary people, I'm afraid we won't see those famous works of dancing and riding today.

Every time I look through Roderick's picture books, it always reminds me of his life. I think: What is the real laurel of life? Is it to be a normal person and die with the vegetation? Or do you gain eternal fame from the deepest part of your soul after setbacks? There is no single answer to these questions. The answer is whether you can reinvent yourself and be reborn in the ashes at the mercy of fate.

There are two gods with absolutely different personalities in Greek mythology. One is rational, wise and calm Apollo. The other is Dionysus who is emotional, enthusiastic and impulsive. They seem to represent two different temperaments in life, one is passionate and romantic, the other is calm and rational, and both of them shine brilliantly in generate.

From the social standards, we all hope that a normal person can be steady, elegant and self-controlled. Everyone's personality and performance are like angels, but this personality makes most people become ordinary people, lacking lofty aspirations and strong emotions. Once the Apollo character is upset, depressed and frustrated, it is likely that Dionysus will pop his head out of his heart and make a wild * * * sound like a downpour, just like a volcanic eruption. The originality of art was born in this situation. Dissatisfaction with life and fate is like a grindstone, which makes the surging talent sharper and sharper.

Most of the great thinkers in history are Apollo-style figures, leaving us with a far-reaching picture of life; However, most artists in history were Dionysus, which branded us with traces of life. Maybe artists can't see the world, but the works they left behind make them wear eternal and real laurels.

This fate is traceable and there is a turning point. Lost both feet and hands; Lost his right hand and left hand; Lost eyes, and clear mind; Without life, there are still beautiful dreams-as long as life is not destroyed, a warm soul may shine brightly in the darkest corner.

The journey of life is a magical country, and no one can spend his life without any suffering. If he has stage fright and a setback, he will never be able to practice in vain, never become a song, and never reach the state of perfection.

If you want to wear a real laurel, you can never give up the pain of life. This may be my answer to "what should I do?" An answer!

Lin Qingxuan's Prose for Middle School Students: I have seen Master Xiaoyun's Zen paintings in silence. When I stepped out of the exhibition room, it was dusk in Taipei. Looking west along the straight Ren 'ai Road, a golden sunset hung high on the roof. Walking towards the sunset, I found that all the beautiful kapok trees on Ren 'ai Road had fallen, and the seemingly dead kapok trees were sprouting green buds on their branches.

Suddenly, I felt that kapok with the same color as kumquat was beautiful, but at that moment, the beauty of buds was not inferior. I think of kapok trees in the old countryside. They can not only produce beautiful flowers, but also bear cotton fruits after flowering. At the moment of early summer, the cotton fruit in the air burst and the sound was faintly audible. Then a little kapok floated down from the air. The scenery is more beautiful than the newly opened kapok, because it has fruits and cotton, which can be scattered on the vast land.

Unfortunately, Taipei people are not blessed to see the fruit of kapok, let alone the cotton wool in the fruit. I don't know why, maybe the air is too dirty, maybe the car noise is too loud, maybe the sky is too gray, and there is no real kapok in Taipei. If you think so, the posture of kapok falling in the country will be more beautiful.

I have seen countless artists' painstaking efforts, all of which are more or less impressive, but when we look at the painting, our hearts are empty, and after reading it, our whole hearts will be enriched, and sometimes there is no room in our hearts. It takes a while to calm down.

Seeing master Xiaoyun's Zen paintings, the experience is completely different. It's like reading Tao Yuanming's and Wang Wei's pastoral poems in the middle of the night. Just a few strokes, lightly inked, can not arouse the emotion of surging soul, but can make our surging return to peace. Instead of stuffing things into the heart, it washes away the common troubles that were originally stuffed in the heart, just like a mountain stream after a rainstorm. The stream has just begun to be turbid, and after the rain, the whole stream is clear, and the mud and filth in the mountains have also been washed away.

In the rush of life, our hearts seem to be full, which makes us unable to see trees when we meet them, let alone be able to calm down and look at the grass and flowers on the roadside. Appreciating Master Xiaoyun's Zen paintings can empty our full hearts, be tolerant, and make the earth shuttle and become a vast Ye Ping.

Master Xiaoyun has a painting in which a villain walks through a forest with a fragrant ink, carrying jute. In the blank, he wrote the following words: "There used to be three loads of jute, but now there is only one load left;" Picking a place to put it down is just physical and mental comfort. " Is to describe that feeling. If you want to be comfortable physically and mentally, you have to put down the last burden, that is, to achieve the realm of "the world is as light as water, and the body and mind are as bright as glass".

I think the beauty of "Zen painting" is also different from ordinary painting, that is, it may not have any amazing pen in a painting, but it pays attention to "touching the machine". Compared with other arts, it is the ratio of needles to balloons. Although the needle is small and difficult to distinguish, it can touch people's hearts. This is exactly what Master Xiaoyun said: "It is tantamount to opening up another source of clarity."

Then, the spirit of Zen painting on the screen can be said to be "blank space", including blank space in content and blank space in form, but we can't fully capture the author's meaning on the screen. He often leaves a clue, or many clues, and the viewer can only follow this line to find where to go.

Because of the characteristics of Zen painting, its influence on China art is immeasurable. Literati paintings in Song Dynasty can be said to be somewhat Zen-like, while Shi Tao and Badashanren, two painters who had the greatest influence on later generations in Ming Dynasty, were not only Zen-like, but also monks themselves.

Shi Tao has always been regarded as "impossible" in art, but "the originality of my own method" from various schools in China. When talking about Shi Tao, Master Xiaoyun once used such a metaphor: "Shi Tao's painting style is so free and easy, just like the Zen in southern China, when all the wind instruments are put together." It is an opportunity for Zen painting. Zen painting has its limits, but the Zen of Zen painting can be traced back to its source, which depends entirely on Tao's cultivation of mind and nature.

How to cultivate the mind of Tao? Master Xiaoyun has a mural of a noble scholar's face, which is painted with three or five strokes. Only a few words are titled "Discovering News in Silence", and I think the word "Silence" is the starting point of Tao Xin's cultivation.

People are always easily moved by passive things, because people always have a lively and splashing nature. It is said that there are no flowers that can't fall, no water that doesn't flow, endless water and flowers that can't fall, and there is always a lively world. But those who pursue silently can realize the impermanence of all things and the truth of human nature between flowers and streams. This is practice!

Let's read some poems about stillness that Master Xiao Yun often quotes to understand the news of stillness:

Plum blossoms bloom in the snow, and the fragrance comes at night;

Facing the cold light, I was silent, and suddenly my nostrils were opened. (Hanshan Zen Master)

Where does the wind come from, all the people are shaking the cave;

Listen to the silence, how can there be ups and downs. (Su Dongpo)

Bijian spring water is clear, and Hanshan Yuehua is white;

Knowing God in silence is self-evident, and observing the empty environment is more than silence. (Hanshan Zen Master)

Gui Ling is light and loose, and the sound of knocking is clear;

Who will be lonely? The stars face north and the water faces east. (Master Yongming)

A person sitting in poverty and loneliness can't be affectionate;

The west wind blew away the door leaves, leaving an empty step and a bright moon. (Wang Wei)

Between the cold and green streams, there is no piano and no words to listen to;

This man doesn't like being famous, but he sits in Mao Ting and watches the distant mountains every day. (Monk Jianjiang)

From the poems quoted above, we can imagine that "news in silence" is not a pursuit, but an opportunity gained from exploration. The best is the word "exploration". The problem is that few busy modern people can enjoy this kind of exploration. It seems that the same kapok can bear fruit safely in the countryside, and cotton wool flies, but in the city, it can only produce beautiful flowers, but it can't bear fruit. I'm afraid even a silent kapok can feel that kind of static power, let alone a person who can meditate under a kapok tree.

Note: Master Xiaoyun, commonly known as You Yunshan, was born in Guangdong in 1920xx. He is a master of Lingnan School of Painting. He studied Indian art in Tagore University, India, and taught China art. He has traveled all over the world and has traveled all over China. He is currently a permanent professor at the Cultural University and the director of the Institute of Buddhist Culture. From 65438 to 0957, he shaved his hair and became a monk, which was devoted to the promotion of art and religion. His Zen paintings are famous at home and abroad. 1May, 983 14 to 2 1 Sunday held a solo exhibition at Tai Chi Art Museum in Taipei, which was his first solo exhibition of Zen paintings in Taipei in the past 50 years. After reading it, he was very moved and slightly impressed.

Lin Qingxuan's prose suitable for middle school students: There is a cicada on the cicada hill, and its voice is very strange. It always squeaks upward, rising to an indescribable height along trees and clouds. Then in the last paragraph of the long note, it suddenly ended with a bass "le" and came to an abrupt end. Listen, it should be:

Yes.-Yes!

Yes.-Yes!

This is the first time I have heard cicada call "cicada" so clearly, and finally let me know the sound and meaning of the word "cicada". I used to think that cicada larvae were called "spiders" and when they grew up, they were called "cicadas".

Cicada, what a strange animal in the world, their larvae have been released for a year or two, but after such a long darkness, they only have a short life span of one or two weeks. Therefore, Zhuangzi will feel in "Happy Travel": "Yi Hui doesn't know the spring and autumn!" Strictly speaking, the volume of cicadas should belong to the category of noise, because the sound is loud and sharp, and sometimes it can cross the valley. Only a single long sound has not changed.

However, we always like to listen to cicadas, because their voices are full of vitality and singing about the world behind the branches. If summer is in full bloom and cicadas are singing in the forest, it will make us feel excited and want to stand on the top of the mountain and scream like cicadas.

Isn't cicada's life very close to ours? Most of us have been studying for half our lives, eager to succeed with this kind of learning, and the long-term pursuit is like cicada; Once we are regarded as successful by the world and sing in the branches, autumn will come.

Meng Haoran wrote a poem about cicadas the day before, with the following lines in the middle:

The gold ran out,

When I was young, my desires burned with the years.

Tonight, in the cold night breeze,

A cicada, singing, presses on my heart.

When listening to cicada, I thought of this poem and felt that the word "cicada" had a deeper meaning.

When can we go to singing in the trees and say to ourselves, "I know, I understand the reality of life."
