As a gourmet, the wonderful taste of food is certainly something to play with. to savor, but where does food come from? There's no doubt that we get all our food from nature, so before we step into the kitchen and head to the dinner table, let's go back to nature and see what she gave us in the first place.
This episode features stories about individuals, families and communities living in different geographic environments (e.g., oceans, grasslands, mountains, forests, basins, lakes) in China, as well as different eating habits and lifestyles due to the vastly different environments (e.g., drought, humidity, heat, cold), to show how nature gives food to the Chinese people in different ways, and how we are all different from each other. The story is based on the different ways in which nature gives food to the Chinese people and how we live in harmony with nature, thus understanding the different ways in which food is obtained in the traditional way of life that has been passed down from generation to generation.
