Hami Vocational and Technical School is a full-time secondary vocational school integrating secondary vocational education, adult correspondence education, skill training and appraisal. In June 2006, the school was formed by the integration of Hami Senior Technical School, Hami Agricultural School and Hami Health School, which were built in 1975 and 1959 respectively. In internal management, the school is a county-level fully funded institution. The school covers a total area of 892 mu, including 442 mu of campus and 450 mu of practice farm.
