"Shanyao Egg School" is a literary school composed of Shanxi writers with similar artistic styles and aesthetic pursuits, represented by Zhao Shuli, who mainly writes rural novels. Besides Zhao Shuli, the main members are Ma Feng, Xi Rong, Shu Wei, Sun Qian and Hu Zheng. His representative novels include My First Superintendent (Ma Feng), Three Years Early Knowing (Ma Feng), Song Laoda Entering the City (Xirong), Lao Changgong (Shu Wei), Strange Divorce Story (Sun Qian) and Temple Fair in July (Hu Zheng).
