The storage method of beans in winter is as follows:
Materials: beans, kitchen knife, etc.
1. Purchase: Choose fresh beans without spots, diseases and insect pests, and try to avoid buying damaged or overripe beans.
2. Cleaning: Soak the beans in clean water for a while, then rinse them with running water to remove impurities and dirt on the surface.
3. Processing: Cut off the head and tail of the beans, remove the hard shell part, and then cut the beans into appropriate lengths or shapes for future use.
4. Blanch water: Put the processed beans into boiling water and blanch for 1-2 minutes, then quickly rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
5. Freezing: Put the blanched beans into a vacuum bag, try to remove the air inside, then seal the bag and put it in the freezer to freeze, and control the temperature below -18 degrees Celsius. Frozen beans can be stored for several months, but the quality will deteriorate over time, so it is recommended to consume them within half a year.
