Yang Lan's Personal Information
Ms. Yang Lan graduated from the Beijing Foreign Studies University in 1990 and became a host at China Central Television (CCTV), where she was the host of the program "Zhengda Zongyi" from 1990 to 1994, and was awarded China's first Golden Microphone Award for hosts in 1994.

In 1994, Ms. Yang Lan went to the United States to study at the School of International and Public **** Affairs at Columbia University, where she received a Master's Degree in International Affairs after two years. After returning from her studies in the U.S., Ms. Yang Lan joined Phoenix Satellite Television in Hong Kong, where she created the first in-depth and high-end interview program on Chinese television, "Yang Lan's Studio" (which was later changed to "Interview with Yang Lan") and served as the producer and host of "Interview with Yang Lan", which has invited more than 600 famous personalities from all over the world to participate in the program so far.

In 2000, Ms. Yang Lan and Mr. Wu Zheng founded Sunny TV, the first satellite channel in Greater China focusing on history and culture, which has made great achievements in promoting Chinese culture and strengthening international media exchange and cooperation.

In 2005, Ms. Yang Lan began hosting a large-scale talk show, "Women of the World," targeting Chinese urban women, which has evolved into an interactive cross-media women's community using TV, print and the Internet as platforms.

In July 2005, Ms. Yang Lan and Mr. Wu Zheng set up the Sunshine Culture Foundation in Hong Kong, a non-profit organization, to actively participate in charity work. 2009, Ms. Yang Lan was awarded the "China Charity Award" by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and 2010, she was appointed UNICEF Ambassador to China. In 2010, Ms. Yang was appointed UNICEF Ambassador to China.

Ms. Yang Lan has always been committed to strengthening and promoting cultural exchanges between countries around the world. 2001, she was invited to be the Ambassador for Beijing's bid to host the 2008 Olympic Games, making a cultural presentation on behalf of China and contributing to China's success in winning the right to host the 29th Olympic Games, and in 2010, Ms. Yang Lan was appointed as the Ambassador for the World Expo. She is also currently serving as an ambassador for the Special Olympics International.
