Pingyao beef, a specialty of Pingyao County, Shanxi Province, is a symbol product of chinese national geography.
Pingyao beef has a long-standing reputation, and its origin date is unknown. In the Qing Dynasty, it was well-known in Sanjin. During the Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, Lei Jinning, a native of Yi, and his descendants for three generations set up a Xingsheng Lei beef shop in Wenmiao Street in the city for more than a hundred years. At the end of Guangxu, another Ren Dacai and his son Ren Yangwen set up a self-made beef shop in the west street of the city, and the beef produced was comparable to that of Xingshenglei beef, both of which were authentic products.

Jiaocheng Junzao, a specialty of Jiaocheng County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province, is a geographical indication of national agricultural products. The distribution range of Jiaocheng Junzao dates belongs to the continental climate of the Loess Plateau, with much drought and little rain, with annual rainfall of 400-680mm and annual sunshine hours of 274 1.8 hours, which is suitable for planting jujube trees. Jiaocheng Junzao is one of the four famous dates in Shanxi, and is known as "the queen of dates".

Five, the new crimson cloud carved lacquerware
Xinjiang Cloud Carved Lacquerware is a local traditional craft treasure in Xinjiang County, Shanxi Province. Began in the Yuan Dynasty. According to legend, it was written by Zhang Cheng and Yang Maozhi, famous painters in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, and was later lost. In 19 15, Xue Xianji and others opened their own paint shops. 1922, the number of shops engaged in cloud carving production in Xinxiu increased to 12. In the 1950s, the cloud carving lacquerware in Jiangxian County was greatly developed with the efforts of many artists.
