There is a small town near Changbai Mountain in China, which is Yanji City. I went to Yanji to attend a friend's party the year before last. I was looking forward to going to Changbai Mountain. As a result, due to time constraints, it was not made. On the contrary, I tasted a very distinctive snack in the small town of Yanji. This is a bit of luck on this trip. According to friends, cold noodles are one of the most famous snacks in Yanji. As a foodie, I still don't understand the difference between cold noodles and roasted cold noodles. When I came to a small restaurant on the street, I was surprised to find a big bowl of cold noodles. Whether it is delicious or not, I first feel full of sincerity because of its massiness. This kind of bowl is usually used to make soup bowls at home, and people with a small appetite probably can't finish it.
It's black buckwheat noodles, which are rich in dishes, including shredded beef with cucumber, white sesame, coriander leaves, quail eggs and so on. It's the richest side dish noodle I've ever eaten except snail powder. Eating noodles and drinking soup is sour and sweet, especially the taste is very strong, and the saliva flows before opening. Later, I stumbled upon Yanji cold noodles as one of the "Top Ten Noodles in China". It' s really "blind and ignorant"!
shredded Mingtai fish
I never remember the name of this snack at that time. I accidentally brushed an anchor video on the watermelon video, only to know that I was eating Mingtai shredded fish in Yanji. In the words of our hometown, it is whitebait. People use it to hold wine and we use it to hold cold noodles, which makes snacks taste like a big meal.
Yanji Mingtai fish shreds are a little more sweet and spicy than ordinary small fish, crispy and appetizing. It is estimated that it will be very thick after dinner, but it is a bit redundant to use shredded Mingtai fish below. It is more ideal to eat while drinking.
pot-stewed meat
Compared with Mingtai shredded fish, Yanji pot-stewed meat is more suitable for eating with cold noodles, especially when you soak pot-stewed meat in the soup of cold noodles before eating. Eating sour taste alone is a bit boring, and foreigners are still not used to it for the first time.
The slightly golden pot-stewed meat, though not heavy, can't stand the large size. A few crispy pieces of meat can make you full, so it's better not to order so much when eating alone. First weigh your appetite, and then finish the cold noodles.
spicy cabbage
There are many Koreans in Yanji who eat cold noodles as side dishes. I think there is spicy cabbage on every table. I don't know if this spicy cabbage and kimchi are the same kind, but it is a new experience for us to meet spicy cabbage with sweet and sour cold noodles. The sour and sweet taste makes our taste a little too much.
