Expanded Information
Starbucks, born in Seattle, USA, started out as a coffee bean company, and has never advertised since its official founding in 1971, but has jumped to become a giant coffee chain group in the past 20 years, and its rapid development has brought attention to the world. Starbucks has not only performed the miracle of turning the ugly duckling into the white swan, but it also has a moving story behind it.
There are 2 versions of the Starbucks logo, the first version of which, in brown, was created from a 16th-century Scandinavian wood carving of a two-tailed mermaid with naked breasts and a fully visible double fish tail.
Then Starbucks was merged with Daily Coffee, founded by Mr. Howard Schultz, so it got a new logo. The second version of the logo used the original mermaid design, but modified it a bit so that she didn't have naked breasts, and changed the logo color to green to represent the Daily Coffee, and so the logo was born, combining the characteristics of the original Starbucks and the Daily Coffee.
The "first" Starbucks store in Seattle's Pike Place Market still has the original logo, and much of the merchandise it sells carries it. The so-called first Starbucks store has in fact moved from its original location, although it is still on Pike Place Market Street.
