First, the difference between leaves.

The leaves of procumbent Chrysanthemum morifolium are oval, ovoid or oval, 3-8 cm long and 1.5-3.5 cm wide. The tip of the blade is tapered, the bottom of the blade is round or wedge-shaped, and the blade is complete or has wavy teeth marks. The leaves are hairless on both sides. The flowers of panax notoginseng are umbels, which are solitary at the top of branches, with 80 ~ 100 or more flowers. The total pedicel is 7 to 25 cm long, and the flowers are small and yellow-green.
