Below I will explain the matters of big confession to you one by one, hoping that the disciples can know a little. Food that cannot be served: 1. Fruits: plums, cherries and pomegranates are not allowed. Plums are taboo for old gentlemen. The seeds of cherries and pomegranates can germinate only after being digested and excreted from the digestive tract, so they are considered unclean and cannot be sacrificed. 2. Meat: beef, dog meat and soft-shelled turtle are not allowed (no regulations). 3. Others: Wet and metaplastic food (low-grade food), such as silkworm chrysalis and sea cucumber, is not allowed. Because of different regions, beliefs and customs, the methods adopted are also different, so please choose reasonably. Under normal circumstances, the next things are agreed by the master and the fairy family at the same time when they leave the hall. Now write it out for those friends who have not arranged it by the master or have not arranged it. There are generally three kinds of offerings of immortals: big offerings and festival offerings. Generally, it is offered three times a year, on the third day of the third lunar month (it is said that this day is also the day when the flat peach meeting is held, so the fairy family also celebrates it as a big festival) and on the ninth day of September (the day when Doum Xing Jun rises), because she is the mother of the stars of Beidou and this day is also the birthday of the last emperor of Beidou, and Beidou happens to be in charge of the fairy family on earth, so the fairy family also regards this day as a festival. According to the old saying in the past, big sacrifices generally use four meats and five vegetarian dishes. This kind of Buddhism does not distinguish between Baojiaxian, Baojiatangkou and Matangkou, and the offerings offered are basically the same. Generally speaking, the four kinds of meat are usually chicken, fish, meat and eggs. These are slightly different in practice and direction. First of all, chicken: Why use chicken? Because in the past, the earliest suppliers were usually two companies in Huang Hu, and because both companies in Huang Hu like to eat chicken, generally speaking, a big supplier is not short of chicken. In addition, there is a saying that the chicken is an enlightened thing, and the sky begins to shine after the chicken crows, so I hope the chicken will bring light through its aura. There is also a saying that chickens belong to unitary gold among the twelve branches, representing the west. So China, a Buddhist, pinned her soul on the chicken. It is said that chickens can lead the soul to the west, so there is a saying that chickens lead the soul. When offering sacrifices to chickens, there is generally such a difference, that is, Bao Jiaxian or Ma Xianxian (whose real name is Wu Tangkou) provides raw chickens, while Ma Tangkou (whose real name is Wen Tangkou, whose real name is Xian Jia) and offering sacrifices to ancestors generally provide cooked chickens. Of course, when leaving the hall, the master will make an agreement with the fairy family on these things. There is also the direction in which the head of the chicken is placed. Bao Jiaxian, Bao Jiatangkou or Xian Jia, who are usually ranked first, all want to put their heads inside. Matangkou and Laotangmen generally choose to put the chicken head outward. No matter which direction they use, the chicken's head is lifted, and it is not allowed to turn around or put it under its wings, so the fairy family will be unhappy, because it means that it is taboo to lift its head. In addition, when offering sacrifices to chickens, the whole chicken is usually placed, and cutting is not allowed. When offering fish, it is recommended to choose carp as much as possible. In the past, there is an old legend that carp can turn into dragons by jumping over the dragon gate. This expression is used to represent good luck and success when offering fish. When serving fish, it is also required to use the whole fish. The common practice is to fry both sides of the fish in oil, so as to keep the skin intact. Usually when placed, the fish head is placed inside. Because the direction of the fish head represents the position of respect, which is somewhat similar to our human habits, when serving fish, we usually point the fish head in the direction of the host or VIP to show respect. When offering meat, according to the old rules, it is generally pig's head meat, preferably cut into square or rectangular pieces. It is usually required that the meat supplied must be skinned, not peeled. And generally choose fat and thin, don't use a position with only fat meat and no lean meat. When eggs are provided, three eggs are usually provided at home, usually raw. However, nine eggs are usually used at the entrance of the horse, which are usually cooked four times and five times, or cooked four times and five times, so they can be served. Generally speaking, fruit can be used to make five kinds of vegetarian food. Generally, fairies and ourselves like apples (meaning peace), oranges (meaning wealth gathering), bananas (taking the shape of their ingots), longan (meaning wealth and reunion), grapes (representing many children and grandchildren) and so on. Generally, round fruit is preferred. Tang kou, who debuted, suggested nine elements as the best. Generally, it is provided for up to three years, and it must be vegetarian in the future. Festival offerings generally refer to the fifteenth day of the first lunar month and some festivals on the earth, which can be selected according to personal and local habits. Generally, 1, 3 or 5 kinds of fruits can be used for festivals, and the number of each fruit is odd. Because odd numbers are positive, the things enshrined in the fairy hall are generally odd numbers, and even numbers are even numbers. Because even numbers are yin, it is easy to attract yin. Flat supply means that when there are fruits at home, put a few at hand. There are no specific requirements, so you can do whatever you want. Generally, after burning incense on the night of offering meat, the time for offering meat can be removed. The vegetarian offerings can last for three days, and there can be no offerings at the entrance of the main hall, but the offerings must not be placed for more than three days, and they must be removed after three days. Water supply: whether it is Matangkou or Baojiaxian, it is a glass of water. Try to change it every day, preferably not more than three days. Wine supply: generally, it is three glasses of wine to protect the family, and five glasses of wine for Chu Maxian. Serve wine on the fifteenth day of the first day. If you see that there is no wine in the glass at ordinary times, you can fill it up, but you must change it for a new one before the fifteenth day of the first day. Generally, the service at the entrance of the debut hall is three years, and it can be withdrawn after three years. Steamed bread: Generally, there are fifteen Bao Jia Xian in steamed bread, with three stacks, five stacks of twenty-five Ma Xian, and ten ancestors, with two stacks. Under normal circumstances, steamed bread is cooled after it is taken out of the pot to maintain the integrity of steamed bread, and the steamed bread supplied should not have skin defects. For ancestors, red dots are usually lit, but for immortals, they are not needed. Steamed bread is made in the following three ways: upside down on the second floor, directly on the third floor, and in a pile of five. Candles: white candles used by ancestors and red candles used by immortals and gods. Chopsticks: Red chopsticks are generally used. There are three pairs for Bao Jiaxian and his ancestors, and five pairs for Ma Xianxian. Chopsticks have been cancelled in many halls now, but they must be agreed with the fairy family first. Generally, the host will arrange it when he leaves the hall. Incense: The number of incense commonly used by immortals is divided into three and nine. Sanxiang is the most primitive way of offering sacrifices. The reason why I use three sticks instead of other numbers in my personal opinion stems from the saying that all things have three lives, two lives, three lives and three lives. So the number three represents the beginning of everything, dignity and auspicious combination. Therefore, the number three is widely used by Buddhism and Taoism, such as the three holy buddhas of Buddhism, the three clean-ups of Taoism, the three officials of heaven, earth and water, and the lucky stars of longevity. The most primitive Ma Xian also used three incense sticks, each of which was distributed very finely, and Hu and Huang were divided very finely, several inches. As for the nine incense sticks, it has only begun to rise in recent years, and they are usually in Tangkou, where they debut, because Taoism believes that the nine incense sticks have the most yang, which means that Tangkou is getting bigger and more prosperous. At the same time, due to the addition of a religion of Qingfeng (including family in-laws and ancestors) to Tangkou, three fragrances have been added on the basis of the original three fragrances, and three fragrances have been added to worship the gods above, so the original three fragrances have become the current nine fragrances (in the past, the gods above were listed in the three Chinese religions, and there was no single Tangkou above).
