Are there groupers in Dadu River?
There are groupers in Dadu River. At present, it is only known that the grouper is distributed in Jinsha River, Minjiang River and Dadu River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, as well as guanxian, Wenchuan and Aba in Sichuan and Gaolan in the upper reaches of Helan River, a tributary of the Han River. The dominant species of fish in the upper reaches of Dadu River is Schizothorax prenanti, and the ecological groups are mainly omnivorous, benthic and cold water. In the past, there were only sporadic reports on the fish resources of Dadu River.
