Portunustrituberculatus, commonly known as the pike crab, flying crab. The term "flying crab" is synonymous with the term "portunus trituberculatus".

The body color of the pike crab varies with the surrounding environment. The cephalothoracic armor is pike-shaped and slightly elevated. There are three prominent warty elevations on the surface, one in the stomach area and two in the heart area. Its body shape resembles an ellipse, and the two ends are pointed like a weaving shuttle, so it has the name of three warty shuttle crab. Each of the two anterior lateral margins has 9 serrations, the 9th serration is particularly large, extending to the left and right. The frontal margin has 4 small teeth. There is 1 pair of rotating compound eyes with stalks on both sides of the forehead.

There are 5 pairs of thoracic legs. The stinging foot is well developed, with a long segment that is prismatic, and the inner margin is bluntly toothed. The fourth pair of steppers have flattened, broad and thin knuckles like paddles, suitable for swimming. Abdomen flat (commonly known as the crab navel), male crab abdomen is triangular, female crab is rounded. The male crab back tea green, female crabs purple, the ventral surface are gray-white.
