Wash edamame repeatedly, rinse and drain.
Cut off the horns of the pods one by one
Slice onion and ginger, and prepare star anise, cinnamon, fragrant leaves, fennel and dried red pepper.
Boil water in a pan, add 3 seasonings, and boil over high heat.
Add the cut edamame and boil it over high heat.
Add salt and cooking wine, turn to medium heat and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Soak the boiled edamame in the original juice for 30 minutes before eating.
