Chef's certificate is a national professional qualification certificate issued by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and it is also a qualification certificate for chefs to apply for jobs, hold posts and start businesses. Chef's certificate is divided into five grades: junior, intermediate, senior, technician and senior technician. Training schools or enrolling in labor management departments, the chef certificate is a national vocational qualification certificate issued by the national labor and social security department, and it is also a qualification certificate for chefs to apply for, hold a position, or start a business. The examination of chef's certificate is divided into two parts, namely, basic theoretical knowledge and practical assessment. Theoretical knowledge is divided into multiple-choice questions, true-false questions and other questions; Practical assessment is to make the corresponding products within the specified time. The difficulty of the exam is set according to the assessment level.
Chefs are also divided into many grades, and each grade has a different certificate, which represents the identity and qualification of chefs. The lowest-level chef is a junior chef, and most technical school graduates are intermediate chefs, that is, three-level chefs below the intermediate level. It takes two years to hold a third-class chef's certificate. If you pass the exam, the third-level certificate will be replaced by the second-level certificate. After holding the second-class certificate for two years, you can participate in the training again and take the first-class certificate examination. Level 3, Level 2, Level 1 are all intermediate chefs from low to high.
Second, the conditions for applying for the chef's license
Advanced (level 3) meets one of the following conditions:
(1). After obtaining the intermediate vocational certificate of this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 3 years continuously, and has reached the required standard hours after the advanced formal training of this occupation, and has obtained the certificate of graduation (completion). (2) Having been engaged in this occupation for more than 4 years continuously after obtaining this occupation intermediate occupation certificate. (3) Obtaining the certificate of graduation (completion) of this occupation (major) in a high-tech school or a higher vocational school with high skills as the training goal, which is approved by the administrative department of labor and social security. (4) Graduates of this major or related majors who have obtained the secondary vocational certificate of this occupation have been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years.
Basic requirements for chefs to apply:
(1) Love cooking, good health, cheerful personality and respect for others.
(2) Junior high school education or above, active and eager to learn, with a zero mentality.
(3) Good conduct, no bad habits, strong spirit of cooperation and collective consciousness.
(4) Engaged in cooking industry 1 year or above.
(5) Can independently complete the cooking operation as required.
