Ding studied under Professor Tommy, a famous guzheng educator, performer and doctoral supervisor of the Central Conservatory of Music. As a disseminator of China traditional music, Ding's music footprints are all over the world. She has been to the United States, Japan, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and other European countries for many times to hold lectures and concerts on Zheng music, and is committed to spreading and promoting Zheng music culture around the world.

Ding participated in recording the guzheng soundtrack of hundreds of films, TV shows and traditional Chinese operas, such as Nirvana in Fire, The Wind in nirvana in fire, Love in the Palace, Do you know if it should be green, fat, red and thin, etc.
