The method is as follows:
1. Cat ear wontons. Cat's ear wontons are a very common way to make wontons, and are characterized by their thin crust and large fillings. Prepare the meat filling in the middle of the wonton wrapper, fold the sharp corners in half and glue them tightly. Fold the corners on both sides inward with your fingers, and completely overlap the two corners and glue them tightly. The wontons that look like cat ears are super cute!
2. Yuanbao wonton. Place the filling in the middle of the wonton wrapper and fold it in half. Put the two sides together and press them tightly to complete the wrapping. The shape is like a gold ingot, and it is also the best way to wrap it without revealing the stuffing.
3. Square wontons. There are two kinds of square wontons. Place the meat filling in the middle of the wonton wrapper, roll one side of the wonton wrapper inward, and roll up the filling completely. Press both sides of the skin tightly and wrap it toward the center of the filling, so that the skin on both sides sticks to the wonton. After it's done, it's time to put it in the pot. This is one of the small square wontons. The second type of square wonton is more suitable for those who like to eat firm wonton wrappers. Place the filling on the wonton wrapper and wrap a sharp corner toward the center of the wrapper to wrap the filling. Fold the wonton wrappers on both sides together, fold the last corners on top and wrap them tightly to complete. This way the wonton skin is slightly thicker but full of texture.
