What the meaning of a margarita represents

The Margarita (cocktail) is a drink made by Jane Dureza of Los Angeles, Margarita, in honor of her late lover.

The margarita has been called the "Queen of Cocktails" and is one of the most recognized traditional cocktails in the world outside of the martini. It was the winner of the 1949 National Cocktail Competition. In addition to the standard Margarita (up), which is the most common, there are nearly two dozen ways to make it, with a variety of fruit-flavored margaritas and margaritas in a variety of other colors (the standard margarita is yellow).

Historical origins:

A Los Angeles bar bartender, Jean Durasa, entered the competition. This cocktail was his winning cocktail. It was named the Margaritacocktail in honor of his late lover, Margarita. In 1926, JeanDurasa went to Mexico and fell in love with Margarita, and Mexico became a romantic place for them. However, once when the two went hunting in the wild, Margarita was hit by a stray bullet and ended up in the arms of her lover, JeanDurasa, forever. JeanDurasa then used Tequila, the national drink of Mexico, as the base of the cocktail, using the sourness of lemon juice to represent the sourness in his heart, and salt cream as a metaphor for the tears of nostalgia. Today, the Margarita is the cocktail that represents Tequila as it becomes popular in bars around the world.
