The step-by-step recipe is as follows:
Ingredients: 20g sliced green onion, 20g sliced old ginger, 20g sliced chili peppers, 2g bay leaves, 4g cinnamon, 3g grass jelly, 2g green jessamine, 3g cinnamon sticks, 5g star anise
Seasoning: 4 tbsp granulated sugar, 6 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp pepper, 2 tbsp rice wine

Crush the grass jelly in order for the simmering to release the sweetness. 2: Heat a wok over low heat, add a little oil and 2 tbsp sugar directly into the wok, and stir-fry until half melted as shown in the picture. Turn up the heat to high, add the green onion, ginger and chili pepper, and stir-fry well. Pour in 3 bowls of water, mix well and bring to a boil. Add 2 tbsp sugar, soy sauce, pepper and rice wine.
