What are the characteristics of zebra-striped sea eel?
Unlike most moray eels with long, sharp teeth, zebra-striped moray eels and many of their tropical relatives have ordinary hard teeth, which are suitable for grinding the hard creatures they prey on. Eels hide in cracks and caves between underwater rocks and coral reefs. If provoked, they will bite the intruder and fight back. The striking black and white pattern of zebra striped sea eel distinguishes it from the shape of fish.
