The classification of peanut kernels in the international market is based on the size of kernels, that is, the number of kernels per inch (28.35g), including:
(1) 60 ~ 80 grains per inch are small grains; (2) 40 ~ 60 grains per inch are regarded as medium grains; (3) 30-40 grains per inch are large grains; (4) 20 ~ 30 grains per inch are considered as super-large grains.
The grain difference between different grades is: 10 plus 60/70 or 70/80 grains for small grains, 5 grains for medium grains, such as 40/45 and 45/50, and 2 grains for extra large grains, such as 20/22. There are three kinds of graded peanuts exported from China: large, medium and small, with large and medium particles as the main ones. Peanut kernels exported from China generally have the characteristics of uniform particle size, good taste and no aflatoxin, so they are very popular.
