The propagation of the amaranth tree is mostly by cuttings, which are taken during the growing season, using robust branches as spikes, the length requirement is not strict, the lower leaves are removed before insertion, and the cuttings are allowed to dry for 2 to 4 days before insertion, and then inserted into the culture soil prepared with 2 portions of decomposed soil, 2 portions of coarse sand and 1 portion of garden soil, and the soil is kept slightly moist after insertion, and they will be easy to take root.
Successful cuttings placed in full sun or half-shade maintenance, keep the potting soil moist and not waterlogged, the first 2 months do not fertilize to promote the growth of the root system, and then every 10 days or so a rotted dilute liquid fertilizer to provide sufficient nutrients to make the plant grow strong, timely cutting of the base of the sprouting twigs in order to focus on nutrients to accelerate the growth of the main stem.
