Tianluokeng Tulou Group
Nanjing has the title of "Earth Building Kingdom", where thousands of castles stand. They are located beside streams and fields, such as "mushrooms growing on the ground" and "flying saucers falling from the sky", forming a unique natural and human landscape. What is the most famous tulou in Nanjing? Let's have a look!

Tianluokeng Tulou Group was listed in the World Cultural Heritage List in 2008. Tianluokeng Village is the first historical and cultural village in China and the first scenic village in China. Speaking of the place name of Tianluokeng, there is a beautiful legend! It is said that more than 600 years ago, a young man named Huang Baisaburo came here over the mountains. Seeing that this place is surrounded by mountains and rivers, the scenery is excellent, so he built a straw shed and raised ducks here.

The mother duck ate snails in a small sinkhole and laid double yellow eggs every day, from which she gradually accumulated a fortune. One day, Huang Baisaburo was releasing his mother duck in the field. Suddenly, the sky was overcast with thunder and lightning, and Huang Baisabulang hurried back to Caoliao with the mother duck.

At this time, there were bursts of "help!" Help! "Huang Baisaburo followed the sound and saw a huge poisonous snake coming towards a beautiful girl. Huang Baisaburo made two steps in three steps, fighting poisonous snakes with a bamboo pole for driving ducks.

The poisonous snake was killed and the girl was saved. The girl crouched in the arms of the brave Huang Baisa Brown and said to him affectionately, "I am a snail girl, and I was moved by your hard work and simplicity." Let me help you with the housework in the future! " So they got married and had children and descendants from then on. In memory of our ancestors, later generations called this place Tianluokeng.

Tianluokeng Tulou Group is a four-circle tulou built in the order of "Golden Wood Fire, Water and Earth" according to the layout of "Five Rooms in the Tang Dynasty" in the map of Kao Gong Ji. It is a classic of architectural combination. Four circular buildings rise from four corners, a square building stands among them, and five earth buildings bloom on the earth like plum blossoms. The unique shape and wonderful landscape have become the landmark buildings of Fujian Tulou, attracting groups of tourists from home and abroad.

The square building in the middle is called Buyun Building, which was built in the Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty (1662- 1722). It means a rising star, which means that future generations can learn from it and their career will rise step by step. On the right is Zhenchang Building, which was built at 1930. Its distinctive feature is that the inner hall and the door are not in a line, which embodies the geomantic cultural concept of "wealth is not revealed".

On the left is Ruiyun Building, built at 1936. It is located in the inner corner of five buildings, which has the function of hiding wind and gathering gas, and embodies the simple concept of implicit and auspicious. The oval earth building farthest from us is Wenchang Building, which was built in 1966, meaning "moire chimes". This is the only remaining oval earth building. The nearest building is Hechang Building, which was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty (about 1354). Originally a square building, it was destroyed by war in the 1930s. The Hechang Building we see now was rebuilt on the original site by 1953.

Five buildings are built on the mountain, echoing the terraces in the distance. Experts have verified that there is a perfect golden ratio among the five earth buildings. Japanese architect Tomichiro Mauki called it an "unimaginable monster", and UNESCO consultant Stevens Andre praised it as "a unique mythical mountain village architecture model in the world".

Mr. Luo, a famous expert on ancient buildings in China, once wrote a poem praising: "There is an earthen house next to the snail pit, and clouds and smoke are scattered in the fog, reflecting rosy clouds." Look down like a flower, like Potala. Or Yu Yunfei plate, also called Luban Mo Dou flower. It seems that this building is rare in the world and the Global Garden is wonderful. "
