Yancheng Institute of Technology was formed by the merger of Yancheng Institute of Technology and Yancheng Vocational College. 1996. It is located in Yancheng, one of the strategic central cities of Jiangsu coastal development, the hometown of the world's rare animals, the red-crowned crane and elk, and the location of the New Fourth Army reconstruction headquarters. Founded in June 1958, the school is a full-time undergraduate college in Jiangsu Province. The school is the "National Excellent Undergraduate Teaching School", the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, and the "National Education System Reform" pilot university. Strive to build a high-level application-oriented university with "more distinctive discipline characteristics, significant domestic advantages in several disciplines, an important base for training outstanding front-line engineers, an important source of industrial scientific and technological innovation, and an important support for coastal development and regional economic development" as soon as possible.
The school has 15 secondary colleges and 59 undergraduate majors, and recruits students from 3/kloc-0 provinces (cities and autonomous regions) nationwide. The school has three campuses, the addresses are: Hope Avenue Campus (No.1 Hope Avenue Middle Road, tinghu district, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province), Jianjun East Road Campus (No.2 1 1 Jianjun East Road, tinghu district, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province) and Huankecheng Campus (200 meters north of the intersection of Ecological Avenue and Environmental Protection Avenue in tinghu district Environmental Protection Industrial Park, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province).
